Dear Colleagues,

It’s my great pleasure to welcome all my old friends and new friends to 8th Left Main & Coronary Bifurcation Summit (CBS2015). There is an old Chinese saying that friends from far away always bring you happiness. In recent years, contribution was made by CBS in enhancing the cooperation and communication between doctors home and abroad, improving the treatment of left main and coronary bifurcation disease. This year, we are meeting together again, with a humble heart, trying to learn more, which will definitely give CBS new ideas and energy.

To survive, to live a healthy and better life, is the common desire of both patients and medical staff. Coronary intervention and revascularization is one of the most important ways to treat coronary disease. With the improvement of devices; skill and team work, we are having a most prosperous view in coronary intervention than ever before.

With your support and help, Left Main & Coronary Bifurcation Summit (CBS) has become a platform for cardiac interventionists to communicate and improve themselves. Focusing on the latest basic research and clinical trials, CBS tries to bring out new research idea, to organize case discussion, and to help the international cooperation and guideline revise. This year, more experts from home and abroad were invited to CBS2015; more interaction sections were put in to CBS2015. The discussion will cover some hot topics such as “Definition and therapeutic strategy of complex bifurcation lesion”,”Utilization of bifurcation stenting techniques”,”Utilization and significance of intra-coronary imaging techniques”,”Evidences from bench models to treatment decision”and”Principle and significance of fluid hemodynamics”.Hope CBS2015 will benefit our daily clinical work and research.

Sincerely thank you for your support and contribution. Hope you enjoy the stay in Nanjing!
