BACKGROUND - An obesity paradox, wherein obese patients have lower mortality, has been described in cardiopulmonary diseases, including pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Our objective was to determine whether obesity and body mass index (BMI) are associated with mortality in patients with PAH.
